That's why I love to rip my legally acquired/rented DVDs and d?C?5 (read like: dee ee *fuck MP/-\?* cee ess ess, DO NOT POST THIS UNOBSCURED, THOSE FUCKERS ARE AROUND) and de-PUOP, removing all the obnoxious bullshit the industry does, like forcing you to watch a trailer or a logo before a movie.
There's also a great DVD player that will do this for you in real time:

dvd-x-

Absolutely recommendable, it's better to buy from these honest makers of honest, no-**AA-bullshit, customer-oriented software, than to cope with the bullshit of you-know-who.

Wow! What a great site! However, is it best to purchase the actual player which is advertised, or is downloading it sufficient?

IRT Raij: It's commercial software, I think there's a free evaluation but you ought to buy it if you use it. Consider it has more features than any hardware DVD player will ever have, among other reasons, because the DVD confagtium patented the encryption method used in DVD Video, and are forcing makers of players to comply and implement with their nazi features to use it.
IRT OCB: I'm not so sure, and if that's so, it'd be illegal and lame. These guys are the ones who stand against the DVD nazis and offer users the features users want, not the features nazis want.

I dont watch TV anymore, but i always used to just leave and get something to eat during commercial breaks. And then, of course, i have the various BBC channels with no adverts at all.
